Jenni was awarded her:

  • Graduate Diploma of Physiotherapy from Leeds Metropolitan University (UK) in 1992
  • Certificate of Professional Studies (Sports Physiotherapy) at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) in 1999
  • Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at Curtin University, (Aus) in 2001. 

She has continuously upgraded her skills by attending professional development courses and keeping abreast of the latest research.

She has worked extensively as a Physiotherapy Private Practitioner in the UK, USA and Australia, treating athletes of all ages, from all disciplines and at all levels up to elite, and has held the following sports physiotherapy and research roles:

  • 1993: Physiotherapist to the England Cadet Ladies Volleyball Squad
  • 1998 – 2000: Physiotherapist to the England Cadet and Junior Men’s Volleyball Squads
  • 2001: Squad Physiotherapist to Trinity Aquinus (A Grade) Australian Rules Football Club
  • 2002 – 2003: Company Physiotherapist to the Birmingham Royal Ballet [sister ballet and the touring arm of the London Royal Ballet]
  • 2003 – 2005: Part-time Research Physiotherapist for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (UK)

Since 2005, Jenni has taken a break from the hectic pace and anti-social work hours of “pitch-side” sports physiotherapy to have 2 children and resume a working life in private physiotherapy practice based around normal hours.  Her own involvement in sport includes playing National League Division 1 Volleyball and competing on the National Beach Volleyball Tour in England, as well as a varied recreational career in beach volleyball, squash, tennis, running and trekking.
